Important Notes
- Guests must arrange their own flights to Mulu. Air tickets are not included in this package.
- All visitors entering Gunung Mulu National Park must present their Passport or ID card, along with one photocopy of the same document, at the park management office during check-in and registration.
- For smoother connections, the recommended flight from Kota Kinabalu to Mulu (via Miri) is with Malaysia Airlines MH3201 / MH3630 (Estimated departure 6:45 AM, estimated arrival 9:50 AM).
- Due to unfavourable flight timings from Mulu back to Kota Kinabalu, it is recommended to continue onward travel from Mulu to Miri or Kuching, with at least one additional night stay in either city to maximise your holiday experience.
- Swimming is strictly prohibited inside all caves, including Clearwater Cave. Swimming is allowed only at the designated natural pool outside Clearwater Cave near the picnic area, subject to conditions.
- Cave formations, archaeological features, and natural environments must be respected at all times. Touching or removing any natural features is not allowed.
- A Tourism Tax (TTx) of RM10 per room per night applies to foreign tourists (effective 1 September 2017). Malaysians and permanent residents are exempted upon presentation of valid identification at check-in.
- The departure time may vary slightly depending on your hotel location and traffic conditions. We recommend reconfirming with our staff for the exact timing. If your transport is delayed, please contact the number listed on your voucher before arranging alternative options.
- All activities are weather-dependent and may be adjusted to ensure the best possible experience under current conditions.
- Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
- Your tour operator reserves the right to alter routes, timetables, itineraries and accommodation should conditions beyond their control render it necessary.
